📚 Overview

Welcome to the GaleByte WWM Bot! This bot helps you manage your Where Winds Meet guild with profiles, events, rankings and more.

Quick access to bot features using Discord's slash commands. Type <code>/</code> in any channel to see available commands!

User Commands

1️⃣ 1️⃣ Profile System

Create and manage your WWM character profile to show off your stats!

📝 📝 Create/Edit Profile

1. Find the profile channel on your server
2. Click the <strong>Edit Profile</strong> button
3. Follow the prompts to enter:
   • Character name
   • Combat role (Tank/Healer/DPS)
   • Main & Secondary weapon
   • Level & Mastery points
   • Profession

🔍 Find Players

Use <code>/find &lt;category&gt;</code> to search for players:

• /find Tank - Find all tanks
• /find Healer - Find all healers
• /find DPS - Find all DPS players
• /find Doctor - Find players with Doctor profession
• /find Scholar - Find players with Scholar profession

🖱️ View Player Info

Right-click any user → <strong>Apps</strong> → <strong>WWM Info</strong> to view their profile.

🗑️ 🗑️ Delete Profile

Use <code>/deleteprofile</code> to permanently delete your profile. This removes you from the leaderboard, war room, and all lists.

2️⃣ 2️⃣ Event System

Join raids and events organized by your guild!

🎮 Event Types

• 🐉 Path of the Hero - 10-player raids (Level 56, 66, 71)
• 🗡️ Sword Trial - 5-player boss fights
• 🏰 Guild War - 20-player PvP battles between guilds
• 📅 Custom Event - Any other event type

✅ ✅ Sign Up

1. Find an event channel or check the calendar
2. Click your role button to sign up:
   • 🛡️ Tank
   • 💊 Healer
   • ⚔️ DPS
   • 🔄 Bench (backup)
3. Click again to sign out

📅 📅 Web Calendar

View all upcoming events in the web dashboard calendar. Click on events to see details and sign up!

🔄 📅 Reschedule Events

Admins can reschedule events (change date/time) without losing any signup data. If a Discord channel exists for the event, it will be updated automatically.

3️⃣ 3️⃣ Ranking / Leaderboard

See who's the strongest in your guild!

🏆 🏆 How it works

• The leaderboard shows the top 20 players by mastery points
• Updates automatically when profiles change
• Click 🔄 Refresh to update manually
• View top 50 players in the web dashboard

⭐ XP & Leveling NEW

GaleByte includes a full XP and leveling system to boost server engagement.

Earning XP

• Messages: Default 15 XP per message with 60-second cooldown
• Voice Chat: Default 5 XP per minute in voice channels
• Events: Default 50 XP for attending events
• Daily Check-in: Use <code>/checkin</code> for 50 XP + 10 XP per streak day

Commands

• /checkin - Daily check-in for bonus XP with streak tracking
• /rank - View your level, XP, progress bar and streak
• /top - View the server XP leaderboard (Top 10)

Level Formula

XP needed per level: <strong>100 * level^1.5</strong>. When you level up, a notification is posted and roles can be automatically assigned.

4️⃣ Temp Voice

Create your own temporary voice channel!

🔊 Create a Channel

1. Join the <strong>Join To Create</strong> voice channel
2. A private channel is automatically created for you!
3. The channel is deleted when everyone leaves

🎛️ Channel Controls

Use the buttons in the control channel:

• 🔒 Private / 🔓 Public - Toggle visibility
• 👤 Invite - Allow specific users
• ⛔ Ban - Block specific users
• 👢 Kick - Remove a user
• ✏️ Rename - Change channel name
• 🔢 Limit - Set max users
• 👑 Transfer - Give ownership to someone else
